“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood—and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all difference.”

-Robert Frost

About the owner

Hi, I’m Bri – the artist, storyteller, and stationary enthusiast behind Yellow Wood Studios.

Yellow Wood Studios began as a quiet idea and slowly grew into something much bigger—a creative space where art meets meaning. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, whether through visual art, characters that live in my head longer than they should, or everyday moments that spark unexpected inspiration. This studio is where all of that comes together.

The name Yellow Wood Studios was inspired by Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken.” That idea—of choosing a path that isn’t always clear or conventional—has shaped so much of my creative journey. I didn’t follow a traditional route. I’ve worked in restaurants, juggled different jobs, and built this studio one sketch, one late night, and one small step at a time. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt unsure, but kept going anyway.

I work across both traditional and digital media, blending line-work, color, and emotion into everything I create. Whether it’s an illustration, a print, or a product you can carry with you, my goal is to create pieces that feel intentional—art that holds something honest. I believe the smallest details often speak the loudest.

Beyond running the shop, I’m also in the process of launching a YouTube channel where I’ll be sharing tutorials, product reviews, behind-the-scenes content, and tips for artists and creatives trying to find their voice. I want Yellow Wood Studios to be more than just a brand—I want it to be a place where creativity feels approachable, inspiring, and real.

Thanks for being here. Whether you’re a fellow artist, a thoughtful gift-giver, or just someone who stumbled across my work by chance, I’m glad you did.

Here’s to making things that matter—and finding meaning in the process.
